Lab 2 Updated
Hello all,
The data dictionary that was supposed to accompany lab 2 was missing and you can now view it here: earnings_dictionary.qmd. In the process of compiling the dictionary, I noticed that the original dataset had some errors. Two of the variables, tense and anger were incorrect, and the script that generated the dataset actually extracted the data for the yell variable (a variable in the original WFW dataset) for both of those variables (this is a rare case where someone else wrote the bug and not me, it comes from the Regression and Other Stories github page). I corrected the script that compiles the dataset and regenerated the dataset. You can download the new dataset here: earnings.csv.
The links in the original lab have been updated (and additionally fixed). I’m sorry for any confusion and inconvenience this has caused.
