Here are the first steps:

• Read the syllabus.
• Go through the course overview materials, and complete the week 1 readings.
• Download, install, and configure R, then RStudio.
• Sign up for a (free) GitHub account.
• Introduce yourself on the course discussion forum on Brightspace.
• Join our Slack workspace:
  • I will invite you to our DATA 607 Slack Channel within that workspace
    
• Attend our first meetup on Monday at 6:45 p.m. ET on Zoom
• Use the google doodle poll to sign up for your Data Science in Context presentation
