- Story 4 is due at the end of this week (Sunday 10/25)
There are two primary goals for this week:
- Read Chapters 7-9 in Fundamentals of Data Visualization
- Finish Data Story 4 and turn it in (Sunday by midnight)

Meetup
Slides: Meetup 8 - Visualizing Distributions (PDF)
In this meetup we go over techniques for visualizing distributions. This starts with tips and tricks to optimize your histograms, frequency-polygons, and density plots. We then move on to visualizing cumulative distribution functions and show how to generate the empirical CDF and how that leads to qq-plots. Finally, we introduce tools for working with multiple distributions, such as ridge plots.
